Average review score:

Among the Very Best Commentaries on These BooksGordon Clark has done a masterful job of writing a commentary that clearly and concisely explains for any reader (scholar and layman alike) the meaning and implications of these Scriptures. One of the best books written on Paul's letters to the Thessalonians. Highly recommended!

First Corinthians: A Contemporary Commentary
Published in Paperback by Trinity Foundation (June, 1975)
Average review score:

One of the Two or Three Best Commentaries on 1 Corinthians!Dr. Clark has written a commentary that is readable for the layman, but at the same time will prove enlightening to many theologians. This is no easy task (most popular commentaries are so over simplified, they say almost nothing; most scholarly commentaries are incomprehensible to the average Christian), but Clark brings it off brilliantly. This is a commentary every Christian should have in his or her library.
